Our Traditions
Colombia is a multicultural country and due to its location culture, food, and weather are different in each region. It is blessed with the Andes mountains, the Caribbean with the higher snowy Point mountain, the Pacific Ocean, and the Amazons.

The second country with more bio-diversity and the country with the most birds, fruits, and veggies per square meter in the world.

You may have heard the Legend of EL DORADO before, which originated in the calm waters of the Guatavita Lagoon, from the coronation of the Zipa the ruler of the Muisca People, a ritual made by the Muisca who are indigenous to the Boyacá and Cundinamarca regions in the interior of the country, surrounded by the Andes mountains.

In this ceremony people involved would wear gold jewelry and the Zipa would cover his body with gold dust before jumping into the lagoon, gold was thrown into the lagoon as an offer to the Earth.

OUR LOGO
We have decided to make our color gold due to its cultural value, for its use in the traditional representation of the sun god (Xué), the color of our skin, and the color of corn, and for the different non-monetary value gold has had in our communities.

Gold was widely used as a representation and an offer to the Earth to give back to Mother Earth instead of just taking from it, with the purpose of keeping a balance of nutrients in it.
